Hello! This is a website dedicated to longform writing on videogames. The goal here is to provide you with some analysis that’s slightly off the beaten path. I plan on looking at both standalone titles and entire series, starting with my retrospectives on the Final Fantasy franchise. But I want to do retrospectives on more than just that.

A little about me: I am currently working in journalism as a copy editor and newspaper designer. I have had a lifelong love of video games and spent a very brief tenure writing about them online for tiny websites. I’ve had the urge to make my own little place to store my musings for a while and so I went and did just that. I want it to remind the reader of 2000s-era simplistic-looking enthusiast websites.
